An interesting look into the mind of a schizophrenic, but a little too self-congratulatory for my taste. It seemed like there was a lot of phony self-deprecation going on ("I'm all crazy so there's no way I was going to graduate. Wait, just kidding! I made valedictorian!"). But the passages about what actually goes on in her head during one of her "episodes" were fascinating.

You really have to hold it together to get through this book. Though her journey though madness is fascinating, it is hard to keep your negative inner-thoughts at bay. She is a highly successful schizophrenic who makes achievement and life look easy, making me wonder what the hell I am doing!
